M.Tech, MS and Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering for academic session starting in July 2017.
- Application window for admissions in academic session starting in July 2017 is from Mar 28, 2017 till Apr 21, 2016. Outside this window no applications will be entertained.
- The application process is online. Please visit this URL to access the application portal.

- For reference letter submission -- referee Online Portal must be used.
Referees can submit their recommendations through "Referee Online Portal" (only) using login credentials provided through auto-generated email. The last date of submitting online Referee's feedback is April 27, 2017 (23:59 Hrs)
- Candidates will be short listed and intimated by end of April if they will be called for onsite exam and interview.
- All candidates have to appear for onsite exams, and there will be no Direct admission.
- Tentative dates for onsite written tests and interviews are May 12-14, 2017.
- Logistics of accommodation at student hostels during the interview dates will be announced after the short listing.

- On the first day of onsite exams, a written test based on the given syllabus will take place in the morning. It will be followed by a 3 hour long programming test. The programming test will be in C language.
- Based on the results of the written and programming tests, candidates will be short listed.
- Shortlisted candidates for M. Tech. will be given an advanced written test. Shortlisted candidates for MS by research and PhD will be interviewed instead.
- Selected Candidates list will be made available a few days after the onsite exams. The selected candidates must be ready to join in the second half of July (exact dates will be specified later).

- NEW Enhanced fellowships of Rs. 60,000 per month for PhD and Rs. 25,000 per month for M.Tech. students are available under the Prime Minister fellowship scheme. These are for students who have done B.Tech. from IITs with a CPI of 8.5 or more.
